What this study found
An abstract presented at the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society meeting, asking whether the equipment and gas-management practices developed by civilian technical divers could improve Navy diving operations. The question was pointed: Navy diving gear had not changed substantially in decades while the civilian technical community had moved ahead.
