Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy as a Treatment for Gadolinium Deposition Disease
Gadolinium-based contrast agents used in MRI can deposit in tissue and cause lasting symptoms. This paper explores whether hyperbaric oxygen therapy can help clear or mitigate gadolinium deposition disease. The mechanism is plausible but the evidence base is early.
